If you are interested in playing one of the region’s fastest growing sports, and one of the world’s more exciting sports, then contact one of Eastern Ontario’s Rugby Clubs now. Local rugby teams are always looking for new players. You may be new to the sport, or looking to come back to it, after a few years away; either way you’re more than welcome.

Full training is given and all you need is a pair of cleats. So, check out the clubs listed in the Clubs section, find a team that suits your level of experience, and lace up!


The Eastern Ontario Rugby Union has 13 clubs, each with a number of sides that cater for different levels of experience and different ages. The Senators, for example, is for older players looking for a little Saturday afternoon action; the Coven just runs women’s teams.

All the teams belong to the Eastern Ontario Rugby Union; most of the games take place on Saturday afternoons from May to September; and practices are usually held on mid-week evenings. Many of the games take place at Twin Elm Rugby Park in South Nepean a magnificent sports facility and home to 4 teams, 5 pitches and two bars.
