Every week, during the school rugby season, Rugby Ottawa will post the best action photo taken by a high school student photographer, at a high school rugby game, to the Rugby Ottawa web site. Each winner will get two tickets to the final of the Canada Cup and one overall winner will get an accredited media pass to the final of the Canada Cup. Start clicking today!

How to be recognised as the High School Rugby Action Photographer of the Week

• Take an action photograph of a High School Rugby game.
• Photographs should be well composed. They can be action-packed and exciting, emotional or reflective. They should capture the spirit of the game.
• Photographs should have impact (meaning subject should be large and action should be easy to identify).
• Photographs can be black and white or colour.
• Photographs can be sent in at any time, during the High School season.
• Every week, during the regular High School rugby season, one photographer will win the award.
• Nominations for each week will close at 5pm on Fridays.
• Photographers can send in multiple entries but can only win once.
• Winner each week will receive 2 (two) free tickets to the Canada Cup Final.
• One grand prize winner will get an accredited media pass to the Canada Cup Final.
• Rugby Ottawa reserves the right to announce the names of the winners to the media and to post their pictures to the Rugby Ottawa web site as well as post them to the media.
• Rugby Ottawa will use its best endeavours to independently and fairly select a winner for each week, within seven days of the nominations closing.
• All images will become the property of Rugby Ottawa – for possible future use.
• Send your photographs to photographoftheweek@rugbyottawa.com with:
  • Your name, grade, and the High School that you attend
  • The name and contact details of a teacher who can confirm your details (telephone number and email)
  • The date of the game and the names of the two teams
