History:
Founded in 1951, the Ottawa Beavers is Ottawa's oldest men's rugby club. In 2001, the Beavers amalgamated with the Ottawa Banshees, Ottawa's oldest women's club, forming the Ottawa Beavers-Banshees RFC.
