The Junior Harlequins took to the field to play their first match of 2008 against the Quebec Caribou.  Ottawa lead at half time 13 – 6 in rainy conditions with tries scored by Chris Seylor and Brodi Telford. Quebec Caribou, coming off a tie against the Niagara Thunder and two close losses in France came on the pitch at Twin Elm Rugby Park determined to post a win against the Ottawa Harlequins. 
 
A late tackle by Chris Miller lead to a penalty goal by Yoan Marlot.  Quebec 3 – Ottawa Nil.
